It has come to my attention that Glee officially came out over 8 years ago, so to commemorate this, I decided to write share 10 of my favorite Glee Covers. Whether it be of a popular song, a not so popular song, you name it, here are some of my favorites (in no particular order).

10. Smooth Criminal, Michael Jackson

The Michael Jackson episode, Season 3, Episode 11: "Michael" was especially exceptional. I remember sitting on the edge of my seat loving every moment of it. I could probably put all of the songs from that episode in here, but let's give the rest of the articles their chances.

9. Glad You Came, The Wanted

Although all of the competition episodes gave me anxiety, the Warblers (even without Darren Criss) are just so talented, you can't look away. This is from Season 3, Episode 13: "On My Way".

8. Somebody that I Used to Know, Gotye, Feat. Kimbra

This episode was particularly thrilling because it was about Blaine's past. In Season 3, Episode 15 "Big Brother", Season 3 clearly was a favorite season in my eyes. Surprisingly, I knew this version of the song before I heard the original on the radio.

7. It's Not Right But It's Okay, Whitney Houston

Season 3, (are you surprised?) Episode 17: "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", the Whitney Houston episode, 10/10 would recommend. This was a huge moment for Klaine. Their rough patch was in full force.

6. Single Ladies, Beyonce

Seriously a classic. Bringing it all the way back to Season 1, Episode 4: "Preggers". This was one of the first of many group numbers. I know they're not actually singing it in this video and Beyonce is, but Kurt did a bomb job singing Single Ladies in his room (also another classic episode) in Season 1.

5. River Deep, Mountain High, Tina Turner

From Season 2, Episode 4: "Duets", Will puts together what he thinks will be an unlikely pair and then they end up killing it at the end of the week. I don't think I've ever heard the original because I don't think anything can top this cover.

4. I'm a Slave 4 U, Britney Spears

Season 2, Episode 2 "Brittany as Britney Spears", where I finally started to notice the beauty that was Brittany S. Pierce. Not only was every single song absolutely to die for, Brittany looks absolutely amazing, and John Stamos guest starts on the episode which is always a huge plus.

3. It's My Life/Confessions, Bon Jovi/Usher

Some classic bromance stuff from Season 1 Episode 6, "Vitamin D". I also haven't included a mashup, and this is one of my favorites.

2. Keen Holdin' On, Kelly Clarkson

This was the episode where Quinn told Finn she was pregnant with his baby (liar). Season 1, Episode 7: "Throwdown". The harmonies in this group number just give me child, and the song is so uplifting as it is. Anything with Cory Monteith is just so much more powerful now that he's gone, Rest In Peace.

1. Teenage Dream (Acoustic Version), Katy Perry

Saving the best for last, obviously. From Season 4, Episode 4: "The Breakup". The first version was what hooked me onto Blaine, but this one is just so much more heart wrenching, especially considering the circumstance he and Kurt's relationship was in at that point in the show.

If you remember all of these episodes, comment below your favorite one!!!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
