Glass Animals are an English indie rock band from Oxford that is currently on tour for their latest masterpiece of a record called "How To Be A Human Being" which is a true testimony to the talent and sincerity of the band and their music.
Red Rocks is best known as the greatest outdoor venue in all of Colorado but that also means you are subject to Mother Nature who definitely showed up to the show. At first, there was just some rain, definitely nothing you couldn't expect from a Red Rocks show, but by the time Glass Animals made it to the stage, it was an all out downpour. But nothing could stop Glass Animals and their fans from enjoying this show.
A severe storm warning delayed the show in order to keep everyone safe. Most everyone flooded out to their cars or to the bathrooms to stay dry while we waited out the storm. While most were hiding in the bathrooms, the most dedicated of the fans stayed in their spots to catch every single moment of the show. Dave, the lead singer came out several times during the rain delay and greeted many fans in the front row.
Thirty or so minutes later, those who took shelter from the rain came back into the amphitheater to enjoy the rest of the show. And we did just that: a truly unforgettable night that allowed for a closer experience with the band and the fans.
In all seriousness, I would never pass up an opportunity to see their show. Check here to see when you can experience this show: http://www.glassanimals.eu/live/
