Giving In To Someone New Isn't As Easy As You Think

I promise, there is a girl right in front of you who loves you more than you think.

Giving in to someone new is so hard, letting them explore your body mind and soul. Knowing deep down if they are anything like the ones before they’re just going to get tired of you and leave.

It hurts. Having the mentality of a female. Having trust issues without wanting trust issues. Because let’s face it, most females know what it’s like to have separation anxiety. Most females know what it’s like to get attached to someone who just looks at them as a piece of ass and can move on to the next girl without thinking twice.

Guys you just don’t get it, although we wish you did. We wish you would take a minute to step into our shoes and realize when we open up to you, when we let you explore our bodies, when we let you have whatever is it that you want in that moment it’s because WE CARE ABOUT YOU.

Opening up to you isn’t about wanting what you have, it’s about knowing who you are and what you’re capable of and how much love we know lives inside of you that we are oh so patiently trying to pry out of you.

Opening up to you is about wanting you. Wanting you more than you could’ve ever imagine at this point in time because you bring out a special something in our lives.

Opening up to you is about wanting to fight for you when there shouldn’t be a fight left in our body. There seems to be nothing to fight for on your end, but we see life completely different. And right now, you’re all we want to fight for.

So before you decide to just take off and ruin the next girl, think about the one who’s already fighting for your love and affection. Think about how long she’s been here holding on, waiting for your love. Think about how much she shows you she cares without you even asking her too.

Just think about it. Because I promise, there is a girl right in front of you who loves you more than you think.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months.
