Dear Mom,
I want to start this letter by saying thank you. Thank you for driving me to practice. Thank you for going homecoming and prom dress shopping with me. Thank you for listening to me when I'm ranting about my day. Thank you for being there when I had my heart broken. Thank you for not telling Dad things I told you not to. Thank you for being the best friend I could ever have.
You are my role model and you are one of my favorite people. I may not say this enough but I love you and I'm glad you're my mom. You put up with my wild mood swings and thank you for that. You don't judge me because you've been my age once and you understand.
I also want to apologize for everything I put you through. You were there when I was in my teenage years and hated everything. You still loved me when we had our fights. You still loved me when I gave you the silent treatment. Through all of our fights, I still loved you, Mom. It may have not have seemed like it but I did.
You are one of the strongest people I know. You taught me how to be my own person. You taught me how to be accepting of other people. You taught me that I should go for my dreams. You and Dad always supported my decisions pertaining to school or to life in general. Even when I don't know how to express my feelings, you know. You know when I struggle and you lend me your support, unconditional love, and a hug.
You have the biggest heart I ever seen in a person. I know that you would do anything for me and I would do the same. You are the reason I'm here and I love you so much. Thank you is not enough for what you have done for me. I'll always be your little girl who loves "The Little Mermaid" and "Mulan".
Love always,
Your baby
