When You Give A Girl A Heartbreak

Heartbreak is an inevitable part of everyone's life. Unless you are a total recluse, there will be moments in your life where your heart starts to break, and it feels like it can never be fixed again. There will be moments that leave you lying in bed sobbing.

There will be moments when you feel like you can't go on without him. There will be moments when you just wish you could disappear for a while. While it may not seem like it, these moments can be the most important and influential moments in a woman's life.

Each time a woman faces a heartbreak she has two options: she can overcome it or she can let it overtake her. While she may face minor setbacks or moments of weakness, a heartbreak is the best way that a woman can learn to be strong. She is able to gain the strength to be her own person again. She has to learn to navigate the world without a copilot.

She has to learn to create her own happiness. This allows for a woman to look inside herself for strength and wisdom and guidance. A heartbreak gives a woman the chance to grow as her own person.

A heartbreak has the opportunity to open up so many doors and new opportunities. It allows you the opportunity to throw yourself into your work. It gives you the time to learn a new skill. It gives you the inspiration for a brand new article.

It gives you the opportunity to go out and explore the world with entirely new experiences under your belt. Each heartbreak brings a new lesson to learn, and each lesson in turn makes you a better woman.

Finally, a heartbreak can cultivate other strong relationships. When a woman is at her lowest, she discovers who her true friends are. They are the people standing next to her holding her hand every step of the way. They are the ones who offer a shoulder to cry on or a warm hug when she falters on her journey.

They are the ones that she can call up in the middle of the night when she needs to hear someone's voice. They are there to encourage her and provide her with the strength she needs to find strength inside herself.

This year I've watched myself and my friends walk through this mine field of heartbreak. With each step comes uncertainty and the chance to have our hearts broken yet again, but with each step further we have grown stronger.

I've watched my friends learn to grow and be more independent. I've seen them become more sure of themselves, more confident. While I am still trying to regain my footing they have been there for me just as I have been for them, and I could not thank them enough.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
