What do you get someone for Christmas that already has everything or doesn't need anything?

This was a question my parents and a few family members asked me. Don't get me wrong there are things that I want for Christmas, but there's nothing I need. Also, I think a lot of times we forget what Christmas is all about. The true meaning of Christmas is to celebrate Christ's birth.

Jesus Christ gave us the best gift and that was laying his life down for us. So what better way to exemplify Christ's love for us than giving back to others. This Christmas I encourage you to give to those who aren't as fortunate as you.

If you are worried about not really having the funds you would like to help someone else; there are other options.

There are different ways you can give back without spending money.

You can go to the nursing home and just sit and talk to them.

I encourage you to continue to give even after the holiday season is over. Giving your time or even if you have some extra income would mean so much to someone who needs it.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
