Since I was born in 1997, I'm not technically a 90s kid, but I did partake in those late 90s, early 00s activities. It was the perfect time to grow up because there was so much going on and so much excitement. So girls, here are 12 things that will bring back some memories from the good old days.

1. American Girl Dolls

I had two of these, and to this day, they still reside in my closet in their stylish outfits.

2. Webkinz

I am not ashamed of my 14 different Webkinz pets.

3. Limited Too

This was, without a doubt, my favorite store. Looking back, though, it was the home of some unfortunate clothing choices. Peace signs everywhere.

4. Sequin Purses

I had a pink one and I was so proud of it.

5. Gaucho Pants

Were you really cool if you didn't own a pair of gaucho pants? No, no you were not.

6. Bratz Dolls

Bratz Dolls

Because who didn't want a doll with no feet?

7. Barbie

You can't forget about the classic Barbie doll.

8. Razor Scooters

Riding one of these was always fun and games until you hit your ankle on the metal edge.

9. Crocs

I rocked my bright pink crocs back in the day.

10. iPod Nano

Apple's rise to fame started with the purchase of thousands of pink iPods.

11. But before the iPods, there were Hit Clips

It only played like 20 seconds of the song, but you can bet I knew every word to those 20 seconds.

12. Tamagotchi

Keeping those little pets alive was always a struggle.

I don't know about everyone else, but I just relived my childhood right there. From the toys to the clothing trends, growing up in the early 2000s was a time to be alive.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
