5 Beauty Products I Can't Live Without

As a girl who loves the outdoors and dressing like a tom boy at times, I still have my girly girl moments and things I can't live without. Here are a few of my favorite products that keep my world spinning and keeps me looking my best.

1. Bare Minerals Matte Foundation

With this light powder foundation, I am left with nothing but a glow. It's fast to apply and helps your skin look absolutely flawless. You don't even need a liquid foundation to go with this! You can find it at your local Bare Minerals store as well as Sephora.

2. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

This mascara is truly too good to be true. It gives your lashes a full look every time, and you'll never need to re-apply throughout the day. They recently released a waterproof version, as well. This can be found at Sephora and most department stores.

3. Aveda Smooth Infusion

As a girl who has some wild, curly, crazy hair that can't be tamed, this product is a life saver. Just apply a small amount in wet hair after you shower, dry and style as preferred! It locks in moisture and helps prevent frizz throughout the day. If you love this product, you'll also love their Damage Control, which helps protect your 'do from all of that heat that we girls love to apply to it on a daily basis.

4. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz

I simply cannot leave the house without using this eyebrow tool. It's perfect for shaping your brows to the exact shape that you love. It comes in 10 different shades for you to choose from to match your brow color perfectly. Trust me, you'll never use another eyebrow product from another company again.

5. Glam Glow Supermud

This will change your life. I cannot resist letting everyone know about this fantastic mask that shows you how it's working as it dries. All you do is apply a thin layer to clean skin, let it dry for five to 20 minutes and rinse with water. You'll be able to feel how clean and open your pores will be. It's a little pricey, but definitely worth it. They have a ton of other great products to match your skin's needs if this one isn't right for you.

I hope these favorite products of mine make it to your house and you enjoy them as much as I do. Comment below with your favorite product that is making your life a little brighter these days!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
