I was born into a family that loves sports. That love for sports that my parents had rubbed off on me. As a family, we would watch football, basketball, baseball, and the Olympics together. I learned a lot of what I know today because I watch sports with my family. I learned the rules, the positions, the trading of players, the draft, and so much more.

My love for sports grew, and I started playing sports as I got older. I joined every sport that I could; softball, swim team, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and track.

In high school, My love for sports didn't change, and I played the sports that I loved to play. I started to go to games at my high school, at the college level, and professional level. I love it all. The game, the competition of it all, the team spirit, the music, the chants, the food. Everything.

And yes, I do understand sports. I know that there are five players on the court for each team at one time for basketball. I know how much a touchdown is worth, and I know how much a field goal is worth. I know that softball has up to 7 innings while baseball has up to 9 Innings. I could go on and on, but I think you get the point.

But if I'm honest, there are some sports that I know better than other sports. For example, I know a lot about football, basketball, volleyball, swimming, track, baseball, and softball. But there are sports like hockey and tennis that I know some of the game, but I have a lot to learn when it comes to sports like those two.

Overall, I grew up with the love of sports that came from my family, and I understand a lot when it comes to sports. Just because I'm a girl, doesn't mean that I don't know anything about sports, or pretend to like them to impress somebody. I like sports because I like sports. It's a simple as that.

So, please stop assuming that I don't like sports, or that I don't understand sports based on my gender because when it comes to most sports I don't need someone to explain the game to me. And for the sports that I'm not really familiar with, which the list is very small, don't talk down to me and make me feel bad for not understanding. Because you wouldn't want someone to do that to you.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
