And yes, I will make you wear a costume.

15 Signs You're The Girl Who Loves Halloween So Much It's Scary
Lily Snodgrass

In case you missed it, I love Halloween. I love that it's all spooky and kind of mystical. I like that there's something magical about it. The superstition and tradition surrounding it gives it an added layer of fun. Basically, this love for Halloween is either something that you understand of you don't. If you do understand, then you know that these 10 things are true.

1. Your ideal Friday night is watching 'Hocus Pocus' with your boo

Giphy

"Boo." Get it?

2. You think Candy Corn is the GOAT of Halloween candy and you will fight about it

Giphy

All these people who don't like it just don't understand. I mean, not only is it good by itself, it's also fabulous in rice crispy treats, mixed with cashews, or just

3. You start thinking about your costume super early

Giphy

I started thinking about mine when we came back to school and settled on it at the beginning of October.

4. And you love making it from stuff you already have instead of buying it like a norma person

Giphy

The coolest costumes are the ones that you can make out of clothes you already own.

5. But you aren't afraid to go all out

Giphy

In fact, you go all out more often than not. I mean, you only get one night to pretend to be someone else and wear weird clothes, right?

6. Judging other costume ideas is a lot of fun for you

Giphy

Idea vs. how well they pull it off is one of my favorite categories, but originality is also really fun. The worst are by far the people who try to do a "cute" or "adult" version of something. Just no.

7. You have a Halloween playlist that you jam to

Giphy

October is Halloween jams month and you know this as well as anyone

8. Most people get excited for October because of fall, but you get excited for October because of Halloween

Giphy

Spooky season first, am I right?

9. You absolutely cannot let Christmas music happen before Halloween

Giphy

Even if you're also obsessed with Christmas, you will not let it step on Halloween.

10. Your favorite childhood movies are Disney Channel Halloween movies

Giphy

'Halloweentown,' 'Hocus Pocus,' 'The Little Vampire,' and 'Twitches' all hold a special place in my heart.

11. You celebrate Halloween all October long

Giphy

You probably deliberately read scary books and watch scary movies and eat Halloween foods and listen to Halloween music.

12. You have Halloween decorations

Giphy

They are both spooky and cute. So basically they're the best.

13. You relate to Wednesday Addams on a spiritual level

Giphy

For a whole month, you turn into the coolest and spookiest character ever.

14. You will make your friends dress up

Giphy

They don't have to love it at much as you do, but they have to at least celebrate properly.

15. Basically, you just know Halloween is the best

Giphy

What's not to love?

If you relate to any of these, you're definitely the girl who is obsessed with Halloween. But that makes you a cool person, so don't change.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
