You are probably the girl who dates the bad boy at school.

You can have any guy you want, but you choose to chase after the one who is showing no interest in you and couldn't care less about your existence, but you are fascinated by him anyway.

Fast forward and you actually start dating him. You have fun together and realize he actually has the potential of being a good guy. Maybe you can change him and let that potential fully come through.

And out of nowhere, he breaks your heart for some stupid reason. He makes you feel absolutely worthless. He not only breaks your heart but shatters a piece of your soul.

Let's face it, you can't change the bad boys, and it is time to stop trying.

As you are sobbing in the shower, you are probably thinking to yourself "I just want a good guy," begging for the pain to go away. You just want to be loved as much as you love others.

I get it because I've been there.

Listen sister, your guy is out there.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, put on a smile, hold your head up high, and move on.

Learn to love yourself first. Have confidence in who you are and know your worth. To have someone love you, you need to learn to love yourself first. How can you expect anyone else to love you if you do not even love yourself?

Open your eyes and realize the potential you have and the opportunities around you. Your perfect person may be closer than you think.

It is time to stop going after the bad guys. I know they are dangerous and exciting, but all they will do is hurt you.

If you truly want to find love, love yourself first and start looking for the good guys.

Be open to new experiences because you never know what is around the corner. Keep your head held high and know that you have a bright future ahead of you.

Do not close yourself off to the world. Let your light shine and show the world who you are and what you have to offer, and your perfect person will come when the time is right.

Stop trying to change the bad boys and trying to make them good. Find a good guy who will treat you with all of the love and respect you deserve.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
