The Winged Woman

I get it. It's exhausting to keep fighting when all you want to do is give up. You're tired, every part of you. But please: keep going and do not give up.

I hope you read this and it helps you through whatever is happening in your life right now.

When you are tired of fighting...

Remember these things:

Know this transformation is painful, but you're not falling apart; you're just falling into something different... with a new capacity to be beautiful.

You're allowed to scream, you're allowed to cry, but you are not allowed to give up.

Love the person you've become, because you fought to become her.

You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it. -Margaret Thatcher

You are unstoppable, not because you do not have failures or doubts, but because you continue on despite them.

You are not weak, you are human.

You didn't come this far to only come this far.

You survived, because the fire inside you burns brighter than the fire around you.

It's really a blessing and a curse to feel everything so deeply.

It may be tough, but you're tougher.

More people love you than you could even know.

And ask yourself this:

How much of what weighs you down is not yours to carry?

Strong people sometimes feel weak. Everyone is fighting a battle. No matter how alone you feel, know you aren't alone. Talk to someone, remember all the battles you've already fought. It's okay to be tired, everyone gets tired. Please, hang in there. You've got this.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
