If you're a college student, and you don't have Amazon Prime (free for 6 months for college students) then you are missing out. From great smelling deodorant to dry shampoo that doesn't make your hair look chalky, here are some of my favorite products to buy as a college student:

1. Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Deodorant

I know what you're thinking - Donna Karan is a very nice brand and no college student wants to pay for upscale deodorant, however, it is $26 on Amazon and it has lasted me almost 7 months, no joke! It has such a great smell to it and unlike many brands, it actually blocks your sweat (and makes your pits smell great during workouts). I highly recommend any college girl to get this ASAP before it's sold out!

2. It's a 10 Miracle Leave-in Product

This bottle of leave-in conditioner for wet hair is the most amazing product I've ever gotten for my hair. It nourishes, protects and leaves your hair soft and shiny. Likewise, to the cashmere deodorant, these bottles last so long and are affordable.

3. Oral IVs

I will recommend this product until the day I die. Not only will it help your hangover, but it also is really good to take when you're sick with the flu/cold/stomach bug etc. Since our moms aren't around to help us get better, I treat this as my own family now. I can always depend on these shots to make me feel better.

4. Jergens wet skin moisturizer

There is nothing worse than getting out of the shower and having your legs get cold and goosebumps pop up (aka making your hair grow) and feeling like you just wasted your time. When you put this lotion on while your skin is still wet in the shower, the moisture actually locks in faster which helps makes your smooth legs last longer.

5. Living Proof Dry shampoo

Not only does this shampoo remove all sweat, dirt and oils from your scalp, but it actually has a subtle fragrance that makes your hair smell like it was just washed. Definitely an investment any girl needs if she doesn't want to wash her hair every day.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
