To The Girl Who Hooks Up With Everyone

Don't be the 2 a.m. girl, be the girl that respects herself enough to deny that late night text.

Hungover from the weekend?

Let me start this off by saying that, I'm not shaming the type of girl you are. I am not one to judge especially since I've been in your shoes. You're just having fun, right? You're young, and you don't want to be in love!

I just want to create awareness, girl to girl...OK?

I was there, I didn't want to be in love and I wanted everyone else to love me. I didn't want anyone to know that I had feelings and that I could want anyone back. Part of it stemmed off of a horrible break up—and it was just to get back at him. Like "look at me, look how well I'm doing!"

I can tell you from experience...I know you're not doing well. He doesn't see that you're doing well. Nothing shoves that you're doing better in their face by just being happy, by yourself.

And maybe I do envy you because you look happy on the outside. And because it looks like you can get any guy you want.

But nothing is sexier than going home alone. Your perfect prince doesn't want a girl that everyone has...

I've learned that respect is the most important thing that a girl can have. Respect yourself enough that you won't make yourself available to just anyone—even if that frat boy sweet talks you enough to make you blush.

A hook up to you might seem like an innocent action but some may see it as more. Why give yourself a name that you don't deserve to have?

Things add up, people make up things. Don't put yourself in that situation. Trust me, one drunk night alone makes up for a million drunken nights in strangers beds.

When you meet someone that you want to be with, you don't want to be embarrassed about your past. Why go home wondering why that frat boy didn't text you or doesn't say hi to you in public. Why feel like you're not special?Because in the right person's eye's one day you will be.

Don't be the 2 a.m. girl, be the girl that respects herself enough to deny that late night text. They aways say that if a boy texts you at 2 a.m., they only want one thing. Make someone work for that one thing. In the long run, you will feel so much better about yourself.

8 Things I Realized After My First Semester In College

Actually, Kylie Jenner, 2018 is the year of realizing things.

The first semester of college is famous for being one of the most difficult transitions of one's young adult life. You're thrown into a completely new area where the majority of the people surrounding you are strangers in an academic environment that's much more challenging then what you've grown accustomed to for the past twelve years. On top of that, you probably share a room with another person (or even multiple people) on the lumpiest "mattress" you've ever slept on.

With this change comes a lot of questions: what do I want to major in? What am I passionate about? Is what I'm passionate about something I'm actually good at? Why does the bathroom smell like cranberry juice and vodka? What is that thing at the bottom of the shower drain?

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.

Fandango

There are a lot of foods in this world, but there is only one dish that stands above the rest: Pizza. If you're close to me or at least know who I am, then you know that I'm totally obsessed with pizza. It's one of my favorite things to eat and I will NEVER turn down a slice, even if it doesn't have my favorite toppings. There isn't a day that goes by where I'm not thinking about pizza. I even sleep with a pizza pillow every night! There are many reasons why pizza stands above all other foods, and here are just a couple reasons why.
