Finding Your Girl Gang In College Is The Best Thing About College

In high school, I always had the same group of friends. When I started college, I lost those friendships and made new ones, that I am forever thankful for.

Ever have those nights where you want to go to your best friends and cry about some stupid boy or a class that is kicking your ass? Yeah, me too. Having those nights with your best friends are the best therapy. They are your people who understand you and will be there for you.

We all have that one friend who encourages us to do something crazy when we should not do it even though we honestly want too. In college, I believe I'll have those moments where I am wanting to do something that I probably should not do, but I'll ask my one friend who says just do it either you'll be happy or get hurt, it's life. You need a crazy friend who will make college so much fun for you.

Having your girl gang in college is basically like having sisters. You cry together, sing together, laugh together, and have way too much fun together. But those are the best moments. You'll talk about your future together wondering how the heck is someone going to marry my crazy self or am I going to graduate college because it is hard. Those are the things best friends talk about then you just laugh it off.

Make the times you have with your best friends in college the best time of your life. You'll be too old one day to party as you do now with your girls, so enjoy it. Go be wild and have fun. Stick together. Get through college together. Be each other backbones.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
