The girl crush has hit hard for many of us this year. There are so many outstanding women around the world right now. It's hard to only pick a few of them, so I did what any rational person would do and asked around. Here are a few of the answers I got when I asked who the biggest girl crushes of 2015 were.

1. Jennifer Lawrence aka J. Law:

You knew she would be on this list because there is no escaping how much we all love her. J. Law is the girl you just know you could be best friends with if you only had the chance. You hang on every word she says because she seems so genuine, and you definitely wouldn’t mind being able to borrow all of her clothes. She goes to dinner with Adele and Emma Stone. You know you'd take that squad over Taylor Swift's any day. Of course, we can’t talk about J-Law without talking about her latest BFF...

2. Amy Schumer:

Schumer is hands down one of everyone's favorites. She has one of the funniest television shows on the air right now. Schumer is your ballsy intelligent best friend who speaks her mind whenever she opens her mouth. When she’s not busy making us all pee our pants laughing or landing book deals, she’s looking fierce posing topless for a calendar.

3. Krysten Ritter:

Ritter as Jessica Jones, aka your spirit animal, on Netflix, is one of the best things you’ll see all year. The short-lived “Don’t Trust the B**** in Apartment 23,” introduced Ritter to a more widespread audience, if you hadn’t already seen her in “Veronica Mars.” However, the gritty “Jessica Jones,” is where she really shines. You’ll want to bring Ritter along to any girl’s night out just to watch her snap back at any skeezy pick-up lines, because you know she would be a girl who has your back.

4. Kerry Washington:

Washington has everything you look for in a girl crush. She’s intelligent, beautiful, kind, and you want to borrow everything she has. When she isn’t busy playing your favorite girl Olivia Pope on “Scandal,” she is working on The Allstate Foundation’s Purple Purse. Purple Purse is designed to help women escape domestic violence and financially abusive situations.

5. Margot Robbie:

Robbie is definitely the breakout star girl crush of 2015. She’s beautiful, charitable, and she slapped Leonardo DiCaprio during her audition for “The Wolf of Wall Street.” She’ll be on screen in August of 2016, alongside Jared Leto’s Joker, as Harley Quinn in “Suicide Squad.” You can see her in March of 2016 in “Whisky Tango Foxtrot,” alongside your longtime girl crush, Tina Fey.

6. Lupita Nyong’o:

Nyong’o, best known for her work in “12 Years a Slave,” is the it girl. From her edgy red carpet looks to her role in “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens,” the Academy Award-winning actress can do no wrong. The stunning Nyong’o is also the Global Elephant Ambassador for WildAid and speaks five languages. She is the first Kenyan and the second African actress to win an Academy Award. If you weren’t girl crushing on her before, you should be now.

7. Emma Watson:

Watson, of “Harry Potter” fame, has earned a spot for herself in all of our hearts. The gorgeous humanitarian is well spoken, but more importantly, she is outspoken when it comes to what she believes in. A UN Women Goodwill Ambassador since July of 2014, Watson is serious about women’s issues on a global scale, which is just another reason why you should be crushing on her. She’ll be back on screen as Belle in the live-action adaptation of “Beauty and the Beast,” in 2017.

8. Adele:

Let’s be real, Adele is having the best year ever. Not only is she beautiful and loves cursing just as much as the rest of us do, but she sold more albums in a week than Taylor Swift did all year. If you were lucky enough to get tickets to one of her shows, please know the rest of us hate you and will be crying at home with Adele blaring through our speakers that night.

9. Malala Yousafzai:

Yousafzai lived in Pakistan under Taliban rule until 2012, when she was shot in the head. In 2014, she became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. Her autobiography, “I am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban,” was released in 2013 and the documentary, ”He Named Me Malala,” was released earlier this year. Despite being considered a target by terrorist groups, Yousafzai still continues to be an advocate for female education and peace worldwide. Most recently, she’s been outspoken about U.S. presidential candidate, Donald Trump.

See any I missed? Who were some of your girl crushes this year?

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
