To The Girl Who Broke My Brother's Heart

To The Girl Who Broke My Brothers Heart,

As a person, I am very protective of the ones I love. You have chosen to date and hurt one of the people I love the most. He is my best friend, first friend, teammate, sidekick, and most of all my little brother. Although the term “little” may not suit him, he will literally always be that little boy in my eyes who needs his big sister. He may have 10 inches and 100 pounds on me and can stand up on his own but with girls like you, he won’t. His heart is made of gold and when he falls, he falls hard. I cannot stress enough how genuine a guy like him is. He is rare. We have raised him to be a southern gentleman and a guy that girls swoon over. He will go out of his way and sacrifice so much for the ones he loves.

Even though I must thank you for letting him find a match better suited for him, I cannot forgive you. We may have gotten along, talked a few times, gotten to know each other, and I may have actually liked you at a time. Now you will forever have a label across your forehead that says “unworthy”. You are undeserving of his love and I hope that once you’ve ended it you leave and never return. I have seen him get hurt time and time again and refuse to let it continue. You get one chance. You blew it and I hope you let him find his better match. Don’t toy with his feelings.

I will not confront you, I will not degrade you to others, but I also will not stand by and watch you hurt him. I will have my say then and I will make it known that you are not welcomed anymore. He is my best friend, first friend, teammate, sidekick, and most of all my little brother. He is one of my favorite people and I’ll be damned if I sit back and watch you hurt him again.

Sincerely,

His Over Protective Sister

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

You know that all of these things apply to you. You'll just never tell.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.

Being a music major is not all kicks and giggles. In fact, there are days when I question my sanity and doubt myself as a musician. I know I am not the only one going through the struggle, and so here are 13 GIFs that I know my fellow music majors can relate to...
