Giraffes are one of the most amazing animals in the entire world. They make being tall, clumsy and awkward adorable. I'm not the tallest but I've always been called "Giraffe girl" so therefore I connect with them on a HIGHER level than most. Here are some reasons I think Giraffes are pretty rad.

1. They are ADORABLE

Could you ever say no to a face like this? I mean c'mon who wouldn't want to see this every day?

2. When they fight It's quite humorous

Yes! They fight with their necks! (A more effective way to fight)

3. They are all different

Although they look the same from a distance Giraffes are just like humans in a sense like humans having different fingerprints each giraffe has a different pattern of spots!

4. Their tongues

Giraffes tongues average to about 18-20 inches long! The dark color helps the tongue to be protected from sun exposure.

5. How they drink water

Giraffes necks are too short to reach the ground so they have to spread their legs to get a drink. Awkward!

6. They have big hearts figuratively and literally!

Giraffes hearts are two feet tall and can weigh up to 25 pounds! No wonder why Giraffes are such compassionate animals.

7. They are the tallest mammals on Earth!

Who doesn't want to have a 16-foot friend? If they are as cute as this sign me up!

8. They are clumsy and awkward and I can definitely relate

I'm very sure that every one of us can relate to this in some way.

9. They are very photogenic

Giraffes are very beautiful even when they don't even try. (They are also very goofy as you can see pictured above).

10. I can relate to them spiritually

Giraffes describe my personality perfectly. On the taller side, clumsy, goofy, different and awkward. If you make me angry It'll be ugly but I also have a big heart when you get on my good side.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
