6 Reasons Every Girl Wants To Be A Gilmore
ET Online

Every girl dreams of a Lorelai/Rory type relationship. From the never ending array of take-out food to the unreasonable amount of coffee consumed per day, everybody wants to be a Gilmore. As the revival of "Gilmore Girls" is almost upon us, there are more than a few reasons why Rory, Lorelai, Emily and Richard are beloved. Here are six reasons that every girl wants to be a Gilmore.

1. Stars Hollow

Pack your bags mom, because we are moving to Stars Hollow! Every girl that has ever watched "Gilmore Girls" inevitably falls in love with the quaint, exciting little town of Stars Hollow. Let's not forget about how adorable this town looks during the four seasons.

2. Endless coffee (and food) from Luke's

How many times did Lorelai and Rory ACTUALLY PAY for their coffee? Almost never. If being friends with Luke means endless amounts of oversized-mugs-full-o'-coffee, then count me in. Not to mention that a vast array of muffins, donuts, pancakes, burgers and french fries always seem to be at their beck and call.

3. Friday Night Dinner at 7pm

Friday Night Dinners. This is where things get messy -- and HILARIOUS. Who wouldn't want to sit down with Emily Gilmore to hear the latest gossip and DAR drama? While Lorelai and her parents have their differences, we all wish our grandparents were as dynamic as Emily and Richard. Plus, what's more entertaining than finding out which new housemaid will be opening the door to take your coat?

4. Rory and Lorelai's incredible metabolisms

Episode after episode, Rory and Lorelai stuff their faces with enormous amounts of food. We all want to be a Gilmore, for the sheer fact that no matter how many donuts, pancakes or calories they consume, they still look FLAWLESS.

5. The wardrobe

Every girl wants to be a Gilmore because they somehow manage to get away with anything in the style department. Whether it's the bang phase, bright patterned dresses or printed tees, the Gilmores manage to make our awkward years, well---A LOT more awkward. While Rory is pretty "plain Jane," she wears a turtleneck and plaid skirt better than anyone in the history of the private school dress code. And Lorelai, well, she's the trendiest mom on the planet -- far ahead of her time.

6. The men

In a small town of Stars Hallow, it seems as though the choices of men are not. From friendship to romance, the Gilmore girls wouldn't ironically be the Gilmore girls without the men of the show. Whether it be a 5-year friendship that finally blossoms into true love (c'mon Luke, we knew since Season One) or the indecisiveness of a confused teenager. Granted, we must not forget characters like Michel, Taylor, Kirk and Richard who also bring incredible charisma and spontaneity to this incredible show. Whatever your favorite leading (or supporting) man, we love them all and wish we were a Gilmore.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

Rory Gilmore

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
