In case you've been living under a rock, "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" is coming out. Fans like me can't wait to see what our favorite people from Stars Hollow have been up to. If you haven't seen the trailer yet, you've not been living your best life. From careful observation, here are a few things I think you can expect from the Gilmores.

1. Paris is still with Doyle.

In a house that is very Paris-esque in style sits a photo of a guy who looks a whole lot like Doyle. Odds are, they're still together. Children? See number 4.

2. What's up with Luke's?

Okay. So we know that Luke's is still a thing (with a NO man buns sign to accompany the no cell phones sign). So WHY are there to-go cups from Al's Pancake World everywhere?

3. Luke lives in the Gilmore house.

Why else would there be a really nice set of knives and actual spices in the Gilmore Household? Answer: There wouldn't be unless you count butter for popcorn. Oy, with the Al's Pancake World cups already.

4. Twins?

These gorgeous little nuggets are too young and too non-Korean to be Lane's kids. Also her twins are boys. After some research, they're probably Paris and Doyle's kids, 5-year-old Gabriela and 7-year-old Tim. These two along with a Portuguese nanny are some of the new characters that will be joining our favorite cast. If you notice, this is also the same furniture from number 1, you can even see the picture in the background on the right. Yep, we have little mini-Paris and mini-Doyle running around.

5. Kirk and Lulu

At this time, I say that Kirk and Lulu are not together, which is sad because I thought he had finally found someone who could tolerate his job-hopping ways. But in this screenshot from Friday Night Dinner, he isn't wearing a ring. People asking why Kirk was at Friday Night Dinner: why did Kirk sleep in Luke's boat? Why does Kirk have night terrors where he gets naked and ends up in rose bushes? Why does Kirk do anything he does? He's Kirk.

6. Speaking of unmarried...

Yeah, we don't know who Rory is "with" but we do know that she isn't married. Good news, neither is Jess. Just making a casual statement here. Unfortunately for those who are #TeamJess (Me), I don't think she will be ending up with Jess. While Logan is in all four of the new episodes, Jess only makes an appearance in three of them.

7. Where is Jess?

Well, he seems to be lounging pretty comfortably in that office. Maybe because it's his? Checking out the writing behind Rory in the same scene (with a quick flip to make life easier), we see that it's something like "Stars Hollow Publishing Since 199-." That means he's more than likely back in Stars Hollow permanently. All the love.

8. Jess and Luke and Rory, oh my!

What the heck is going on in this photo? Why is Luke wearing a suit? Why is Rory grabbing Jess excitedly? What is Jess holding in his hand? These are all questions that I need answers to immediately, if not sooner. But if I had to guess, I would say that Jess is releasing another book. Still. Why the suit, Luke?

9. Some things never change.

With all of the changes around Stars Hollow, we DO know that Kim's Antiques is still a staple. Does Lane run it now? But we do know that Mrs. Kim is in at least one episode, so odds are she's still small and in charge.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
