AHUAIHGIODSHNVCKNSDIUGRSB;FUIER!!

That was my reaction to Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. The entire four part event was incredible from the opening scene to the black out at the end of Fall. Those fateful last four words that fans have been waiting for almost 10 years to hear, were finally said. And man, were they a shocker. Let's just say I sat in silence just soaking in those final words for a good while.

I loved (almost) every minute of the revival until about the last minute of Fall. From the many appearances from fan favorites to basically everything Kirk did to Lorelei and Luke finally getting married to the way they handled Edward Herrmann's death. The episodes often had me laughing like crazy and bawling my eyes out.

For the most part the revival answered a lot of questions, (Guys! We finally saw Lane's dad!) but there were still a fare amount left open at the end. I just really hope that Netflix is going to turn this revival into more than just those four 90 minute episodes. Honestly, I don't know how I'm going to function without another season.

There were many parts in the episodes that people loved while others criticized. Some complained that Stars Hallow the Musical went on too long while others loved seeing Sutton Foster and Christian Borel perform. Some complained about the Life and Death Brigade sequence while others loved seeing Colin, Finn, Robert and Logan back at it again. Most of the criticisms had to do with Amy's treatment of some of the characters.(*cough*Jess*cough*)

Now the biggest reveal - SPOILER ALERT!

Emily kept a maid for longer than a day! Berta stuck around for a full year!

Just kidding! That's not the biggest reveal. Although it was quite shocking to see Emily actually find a maid she likes. The big reveal is that-

Rory's pregnant.

My biggest problem with this is that Amy Sherman-Palladion (the show's creator) tried to turn Rory into Lorelei and Logan into Christopher. So many shows now a days want their characters to come full circle. Amy decided to do that with Rory becoming Lorelei, Logan becoming Christopher, and Jess becoming Luke. These characters all deserve so much more than that. They are each their own individual people. They shouldn't be pigeon-holed into some already formed character formula. Rory, now 32, is the same age that Lorelei was when the show first began in 2000. I understand why to some this might be a satisfying ending. Rory, who is so much like her mother, has finally become her mother (sorta). Personally I'd be fine with this ending if I knew for sure that at some point in the future they'd make another season. Whether it's 6 months from now or 3 years from now, I just need some of my questions to be answered.

With the show ending on that fateful confession, one has just about as many questions (regarding Rory) as they did when the season began. What's Lorelei's reaction? Is she mad? Excited? Shocked into silence? We don't know. Who's the father? We assume that it's Logan based on the affair the two of them had (something else I'm not crazy about) but, we're never given conformation. For all we know that one night stand with the Wookie in Spring turned into something more! Or it could be Paul! (I'll admit when he first showed up in Winter as Rory's boyfriend I was annoyed. I mean I know it's been 10 years obviously she will have seen other people by now...but still! By the end of Fall though, it was a hilarious running joke throughout the season about Rory's forgotten boyfriend, who even Rory can't seem to remember.) Did that meaningful glance Jess gave Rory through the window mean he's going to become her Luke? What's Rory going to do after she publishes her book?

Now my biggest beef: The whole Logan/Rory situation. Logan is by no means the same as Chris. Chris was just a teenager when Lorelei got pregnant with Rory. Logan is a 30-something year old man who loves and cares deeply about Rory. I feel like Amy just ignored the entirety of the Rory/Logan arc in season seven. Not just their romantic arc, but like everything that happened to Logan during that season. Logan proposed to Rory and wanted to marry her. He was serious about their relationship. If Rory called up Logan and told him that she was pregnant with his child there is not a doubt in my mind that he would want to be involved in that child's life. Whether or not he would call off his engagement, I suppose we could debate. Logan and Rory have always been one of my favorite parings on the show. It kills me that Amy would have them involved in the way that they were during this revival. Logan respects Rory way too much for her to just be a piece of side action. Not to mention that Rory respects herself too much to let someone use her as a piece on the side. Honestly, their affair during the revival has ruined both of the characters (a little) for me. I got so excited when I saw Rory on the phone pacing in that London apartment. I just knew that it was Logan's and that meant that, if they weren't together at the very least they were close friends. But then, Amy had to go along and make Logan have a fiancé that he clearly doesn't love that much if he's still involved with Rory. I just have a hard time believing that Rory would allow herself to be belittled like that or that Logan would be willing to do that to her. He was willing to throw away the whole Huntzberger fortune to be with her at the end of season 7.

At the end of the day though, I loved the revival. Sure there might have been one or two things I might have liked to change, but the season was still full of laughs and heart-felt moments that drew the audience in from the first seconds of Winter to the black out at the end of Fall. My only real question left is- when does season 2 come out?

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
