"Gilmore Girls" fans, hear me out. Rory should have ended up with Logan and here's why:

1. Logan was the best out of all of Rory's boyfriends.

Dean was a great first love, but he became possessive quickly. Starting out as the shy, mysterious new guy, Dean developed into a grade-A jerk-off. Dean's character only deteriorated as the show continued on.

Jess was a great friend to Rory. They had intellectual chemistry like no other and Jess constantly pushed Rory. However, Jess was horrible at communicating and ran-off whenever Rory needed him. Jess didn't even tell Rory that he was moving to California. Jess and Rory are good friends and their friendship continued to make butterflies in all viewers' stomachs every time Jess showed up. But that is the problem, Jess never stuck around long enough to be what Rory needed.

Logan was the best boyfriend. Logan made Rory step out of her comfort zone and endlessly supported her, even when he didn't agree. Logan made his opinions and personality known to Rory, he never left her guessing. Rory knew that Logan saw other girls, but when she asked, Logan dropped them all for Rory in a heartbeat. Logan was great at communicating and talking Rory down. He constantly showed her affection and did everything he could to make her happy. Logan lashed out sometimes, everyone does though, including Rory. However, Logan always apologized and tried to make things right. Logan had never had an actual relationship before Rory, so there was a moment when he thought they were broken up because they hadn't spoken for months. He did not cheat though. It is easy to blame Logan and get mad at him but put in his shoes, most people would have assumed they were broken up. Logan and Rory are both to blame for not communicating during those months. However, Logan and Rory worked past that and developed a very trusting and loving relationship. Logan was the most considerate, dependable, and loving boyfriend Rory had throughout the course of the show.

2. Logan supported Rory endlessly.

In Rory's senior year, Logan had endless support for Rory. He had so much faith in her to pursue and succeed in whatever job, internship, fellowship she wanted to take. Logan worked to build a good relationship with Rory's family and have them know just how much he loved Rory. When Rory dropped out of Yale, Logan supported her decision, even if he didn't agree. Logan saw that his girlfriend was not getting it from her mother and needed someone on her side, so he supported her. When Paris kicked Rory out, Logan provided her a place to live rent-free. In the revival, Logan provided Rory a place to write and work. He told her to write her book and believed she would succeed. Jess may have supported Rory's endeavors, but not to the extent that Logan did.

3. Logan was a good influence on Rory.

This idea may seem off to some people, but hold your comments for one second. Logan pushed Rory to reach for the stars. Rory was a logical person who constantly played it safe, but not with Logan. He made her feel OK to make mistakes because no one should live in regret of not knowing. Logan made Rory realize what it meant to live not just survive. He brought out the risk-taker side of Rory that she was forced to keep bottled up her entire life. Thanks to Logan, Rory was able to know that she didn't make the New York Times fellowship, that trust is everything, and that people can change. Rory became the woman she is because Logan taught her to take risks and live life to the absolute fullest.

4. Logan loved Rory.

All of Rory's boyfriends throughout the show loved her, but Logan loved her enough to respect her. Dean did not respect Rory, as shown by his possessive disposition. Jess loved her but did not respect her decisions. Logan loved her and respected her. Logan gave up everything for Rory, he would have done anything for her. If Rory had said yes to Logan's proposal, I am confident he would have spent the rest of his life striving to keep her happy. He was willing to go against his father, who he never stood up to, for Rory. He gave up his play lifestyle to be with Rory. He constantly compromised to make Rory happy because he loved her.

5. Logan communicated.

Logan was the King of talking things out. Every time Rory was upset or angry, Logan wanted to talk things out. Logan would not stop bothering Rory until she would talk to him. After Logan and Rory were official, Logan told Rory everything he felt. Logan always wanted to know what had made Rory upset, explain himself, and try to fix things. None of Rory's other boyfriends communicated as well as Logan did. Was he always perfect at it, of course not, otherwise that whole bridesmaids' debacle would never have transpired. But he tried more than Dean or Jess ever did.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
