Gilmore Girlshas given me nothing but love, joy, hilarious jokes, emotional instability and a plethora of charming, relatable characters. Lorelai, Rory, Emily, Luke, Sookie, Michelle, Paris and even Paul Anka the dog provide both comedic relief and often the devastating truth about so many different feels. Further, the extroverts on this show outwardly express the painfully accurate inner monologues of us introverts out there who just don't always have it in us to deal with other people (while simultaneously resorting to passiveness to express our frustrations). Without further ado, I give you some of my daily cynicisms portrayed by some of my favorite fictional people.
1. When you have to converse with literally anyone under the sun before 10:00 am
2. When your frustration with everything and everyone has reached an unprecedented level and you now have 50 shades of new cuss words to mutter under your breath
3. When you're recovering after a dense social gathering filled with people who seem to be way too excited to be there
4. When someone tells you to "go with the flow" and you don't want to be a burden so you have to smile and suppress how uncomfortable you are
5. When ungrateful people constantly take your passiveness and generosity for granted
6. When your life philosophy is:
7. When you're just trying to get things right and are tired of people getting in your way
8. When you show up at a party and you can't get through a few minutes before running into scum
9. When you can never reconcile your conflicting anxiety and depression and intense frustration
10. When you know you at least have some solid friends that put up with your cynicism and sometimes even cheer you on
