Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year! We get presents and we get to hang out with our friends and family! There's no school work to worry about or final exams. All you have to think about is Christmas decorations and what to buy your loved ones. For me, parents are the hardest people to buy for, but I've picked up some tips over the years. Here's what most parents want for Christmas:
1. Agree to not fight with your siblings for a week
It's okay if you don't follow through with it. I know it's hard, but if your parents can at least see you attempting to be nice to your siblings they'll be really grateful.
2. A homemade coupon book
Sounds kind of cliche but it's really nice. Include doing the dishes or making dinner or just spending time with your parents! They'll love it! Also good for us college kids ballin' on a budget.
3. A nice family dinner
Doesn't matter if you make it or if you make the reservation, it's the thought that counts.
4. Something you can all do together
Maybe go to a concert or a show on Broadway. These are expensive so maybe propose the idea and split it with the whole family.
5. Remake old pictures
Find your parents' favorite pictures of you and your siblings and remake them! It's cute and funny!
