Everyone has that one friend that doesn’t want anything for Christmas or already ‘has everything.’ This year for secret santa, I received one of those friends. I had such a hard time deciding what to get her, so, of course, I looked to Pinterest. After lots of looking, this is the list I came up with:
- Themed basket
- My current favorite themed basket to get my friends is a ‘holiday’ basket. This includes: a cute holiday bin/tin/basket, fuzzy socks, a holiday mug, hot coco powder in a mason jar, a package of marshmallows tied with a ribbon, a holiday themed blanket, and Winter Candy Apple lotion, soaps, perfume, candle and hand sanitizer from bath and body works.
- Adventure book
- This gift only really works for friends that you’re close with. Buy a scrapbook, stickers, ribbon, and any other decorations you would want for a scrapbook. Then, print pictures/find mementos from times your friend and you had spent together. Create an ‘adventure book’ like in the movie ‘Up’ reminiscing your times together. Not only is it adorable, but it’s something your friend definitely won't have.
- A day with you!
- Plan a day with your friend! For my friend’s birthday, I took her to the city and bought her dinner and we saw a comedy show. For my mom’s birthday, I took her to Loft to shop, then to get massages, lunch, a mani-pedi, and then to a movie.
- Something Custom
- Depending on your friend’s interests, get her something custom! Could be a mug with her favorite movie logo on it, or a blanket with a collage of pictures of her and her friends! Walgreens and Walmart typically have some personalization services!
- An experience
- If she has everything, get her to try something new! Get her concert tickets, tickets to an improv show, or take her ice skating or bowling! There’s always something she hasn’t tried!
Hopefully this short (but well thought out) list will help to make your holiday shopping a little bit easier! Happy Holidays!
