4 Gifts Any Makeup Lover Will Love

In This Article:

Most makeup lovers have an extensive collection of products that, for the people in their life who buy them gifts, are hard to keep track of. Thus, when it's time for you to buy them a present, you can't buy them makeup because you might end up buying them what they already own.

These are things they'll never be mad about receiving and they'll admire you for knowing to get them.

1. Brushes

Giphy

A real makeup junkie knows there is no such thing as too many makeup brushes. Whether you just keep forgetting to clean them or you truly don't have that many, you kind of always want more brushes but don't want to drop those coins one a nice brush set.

Which is why it's a good gift.

Here are some affordable brush options: Colourpop, Wet n Wild, Elf, BH Cosmetics.

Here are some splurge-y brush options: Sigma, Morphe (some sets are cheaper, some are definitely splurgey), Spectrum.

2. Setting spray

Giphy

Whether you use it to spray your face after applying all your makeup, or you use it wet your eyeshadows to make them more metallic, setting spray is a resource that depletes unfortunately quickly.

Buying a setting spray that's available at the drugstore is always an option (Milani makes my personal favorite), but so is spending a heftier price tag at Ulta or Sephora on Too Faced or Urban Decay setting sprays.

3. Makeup removing wipes

Makeup wipes seem to evaporate in my drawer. No matter how frequently I buy them, I always seem to need more. These babies are perfect for cleaning makeup off your hand, taking makeup off at the end of the day, fixing winged liner, or even wiping away fallout after doing your eyeshadow. They come in handy a lot, and it doesn't hurt to have a few extra packs on standby.

4. Sephora/Ulta giftcard

I feel like this one is pretty darn obvious, but I think that I speak for a lot of people when I say that it's better to have the choice of getting whatever you want than it is to get something you already own/don't want and having to return it, which is a hassle.

So if you're out of options or you just want to make sure they get something they'll actually want, I think that a gift card is a great choice.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
