The holidays are quickly approaching, and all I can think all about is how much money I don't have. If you're in the same boat as me, this list is for you! Welcome to Christmas on a budget! These 10 gifts will certainly make the recipient happy and also won't break your bank. It's a win-win!

Make them a candle.

Candles are always a great gift! Some people may not enjoy scented candles, but there are always alternatives. They are super easy to make too! I've used these instructions myself, and it went smoothly.

Cook them a meal.

I'm not the best cook, but there are tons of recipes that aren't too challenging out there. Let's face it: food is the best thing on Earth, so someone will always enjoy having food prepared for them. I've included some easy recipes and a vegan recipe as well!

Offer to babysit their children/pets.

Make/buy them a perfume/cologne.

Everyone likes to smell nice, right? You can never have too much perfume/cologne, especially Bath and Body Works brand.

Buy them a board game!

Board games are back in style! There are so many different kinds that can appeal to any age group and any kind of person. There are even ones that just require one person to play. Check them out!

Get them a book!

There is a book on almost every subject in the whole wide world that someone can benefit from. Some books can get pricey, but Half Price Books and thrift stores can be a great place to find used books that still have some life in them.

Knit something for them. 

With all this cold weather, a nice hat or scarf is sure to make the receiver warm and happy! If you're just starting out, here are some easier projects that will make a great gift without the struggle.

Make them a calendar!

Everyone needs a way to keep track of the days, and with the new year approaching, a calendar would make a useful gift. You can make it a little more personalized by adding drawings, photos or inspiring quotes.
