With Christmas in just a few short days away, my excitement is through the roof! While we are giving and receiving gifts I think its important that we don't forget our pets. They love us unconditionally and are always there when you need snuggles or a quick laugh. I love dogs and I love to be around them but in my house we have always had cats so I know what they would really want for Christmas. Here are a few of those things.
1. Milk Tabs
If you don't know what that is then it is the plastic part you take off of the gallons of milk or water you buy at the grocery store. My cats can play for hours with these little things. I think they like it because its small and light so it is easier to throw and carry around. So next time you open a gallon of milk don't throw that little plastic piece away because it could be the best present your cat receives this year.
2. Catnip
My grandma buys catnip and buys baby socks at the dollar store. She puts the catnip in the sock and sows the end. My cats go bonkers when we bring these out. They are perfect because they are cheap and easy. Or you can just rub the catnip on their old toys and be set. Its something your cats will love!
3. Christmas ornaments
If you have a cat you understand the struggle of putting your decorations up for Christmas. Some of you don't even decorate the bottom have of your tree because your cats like to destroy anything on the bottom. My cat who just turned eight months old has officially decided she wants to decorate the bottom on the tree the way she wants, and that is that she wants nothing on the tree and everything on the floor so she can play with it.
4. Treats
Honestly I don't think it would be Christmas if you didn't get your cats exactly what they want for Christmas. My cats are very spoiled when it comes to receiving treats. So why not give them even more than they receive?
5. Christmas tree
I think my cats would be the happiest alive if I left the tree out all year round. They think that the world revolves around them so they think that we put the tree up just for them. They think it is a jungle gym and also a hang out or hiding spot. I think that if you were really trying to get your cat the best present ever this year then you are more than welcome to make the sacrifice.
So this year, show your cats you love them by getting them what they actually want for Christmas.
