Well, we all know how terrible and stressful dead week can be. So this week I decided to treat the matter more lightheartedly. As this is my freshman year, just the jump in difficulty from my fall finals to my spring finals has been huge. However, I try not to let that discourage me as I move on to my three more years to come at the University. So, without further ado, here are some of thoughts/actions throughout dead week.
1. Friend on the group chat: Who wants Dutch?
Me:
2. Realizing you spent the term not soaking anything in and feeling all the regret:
3. Professor: The final will be a group project.
Me:
4. Making the dead week to-do list like:
5. The time crunch in dead week makes me not even try to look presentable, when people see me they are like:
6. This is me dancing in the kitchen at 1 a.m. instead of writing that essay that was supposed to be in by 12 a.m.:
7. How I feel all my professors think when they're going to grade term papers as I write them:
8. When my classmates tell me that they're so nervous for the final but don't show it:
9. When the first question on the review is not even English:
10. Me realizing I have spent the week figuring out everything I was suppose to learn two months ago:
11. Me when I finally start to memorize important material:
12. Me when my friends are like, Let's just take a little break from studying:
13. Me trying to run away from those projects I haven't done yet:
14. When I finally get the answer in my math class but my professor is like:
15. Me explaining to my chemistry professor why I won't get a good grade on the final:
16. Realizing this final is crucial to my grade, my degree, and my overall life:
17. How I feel when I get 100 percent on my practice tests:
18. How I imagine myself leaving my last final:
19. Lastly, this one is from me to you:
Good luck to you all!
