We've all been there. It's almost always guaranteed that whenever there is an event at a certain time, you'll be running behind for getting ready. Whether it's an early event or if it's late and you have "so much time," there is a 90 percent chance that getting ready will be rushed or you'll be late. Here are the stages of getting ready in a time crunch.

1. Realizing you have no time.

Cue the panic

2. Trying to quickly prioritize things.

If I chew gum, I really don't have to brush my teeth right?

3. Running around like a lunatic.

To you, it's just a hustle while you're trying to get it done but to the outsiders (anyone not in your brain) they just see a crazy half dressed girl running around her apartment.

4. Multi-tasking.

You can definitely paint your toe nails, text my squad, and chew my gum at the same time.

5. Hitting your hair with all of the heat.

So now, with like forty minutes left, this is the perfect time to fry hair with a blow dryer and whatever heat tool you choose tonight. Sorry hair, but we have to look cute.

6. Running through your closet.

Picking out an outfit in under 20 minutes should seriously be an Olympic event.

7. Checking your phone to see if the cute boy from class texted you.

He totally wants to meet up tonight but you're going to answer like if you guys "run into each other," it's not that big of a deal.

8. Half a face of make-up.

As much as you'd love to contour your cheek bones for maximum high light glow, NO ONE has time for that right now. Let's get some foundation, shadow, liner, and lips done - we're on a time crunch!

9.Squeezing in Insta worthy pics.

The key here is to look effortlessly flawless as if you looked like this at all times.

10. Strut out of your house feeling as fleek as you look.

Chanel your inner Kardashian-Rolling-Out-Of-The-Escalade-at-Kendall's-21st attitude and know that in under an hour, you look this fleeky.

Yes, procrastination nation is a life style but it really hurts when you have to be ready in time to go somewhere. Just keep it quick and stop changing your outfit (guilty); get out there like the beautiful butterfly you are.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
