Getting A Summer Job

Alright so we have finally finished school. Finals are over and we are home for the summer. But we have no money and mom and dad are begging us to get a job. So what better way to explain the process than with Buddy the Elf?

1. Super motivated to get a job!

Just got out of school and you are in desperate need for money. Not to mention your parents are begging for you to get a job.

2. Doing your research

You're so motivated, doing your research, looking for a good job that pays well.

3. Walking into your first interview

Not every place can be like Santa’s workshop.

4. When you get the job

Thank goodness. That wasn’t so hard.

5. First day of your new job

So excited!

6. When your boss checks on you every five minutes

So hard to do your job when your boss is standing over your shoulder watching your every move.

7. Break time

A 30 minute break after working five hours...

8. After working for a month

I mean the job has to get done, right?

9. When you accidentally mess up an order

Everybody makes mistakes.

10. Finally quitting

Wow, three months could not have come fast enough and yet with all that work our bank accounts are still starving.

11. Back to School

And now you can go back to tests and homework and studying.

Now, in college, already fluent in English and Portuguese, I'm in the process of becoming fluent in Spanish, and I have a standard high school level understanding of French.

Some universities only get two or three days off for Thanksgiving break. Or, if your university is like mine, you get the whole week off go go home. A whole week off is a long time.
