As excited as we are with spring break quickly approaching, we almost wish we could have just a little bit more time to miraculously lose the 15 pounds we gained over the hibernated winter months.

With the countdown beginning to the bikini exposure, there are 6 phases of the attempt to getting in shape that every girl experiences. And who could tell it better than the Kardashians?

1. Trying to built up motivation

As girls, we tend to reminisce on skinner days in hopes that it will give us the motivation to get that body back. In our minds, our logic is: "If I had the body then, I can get it now!"

2. First few days of diet: KILLIN' IT

You're at the peak of your motivation and commitment to hit the gym and ditch the junk food. You feel on top of the world and you're on the bath to be bikini-ready in no time!

3. But snacks are just calling your name...

Your friends catch you slippin' up on your diet and digging through the fridge and you start to rethink this whole "clean eating" thing after all.

4. So you decide, one cheat day is okay, right?

You feel like you've been doing so well so why not give yourself a cheat day? Starting the day tomorrow at the gym and eat only salads to make up for it, right?

5. But then a cheat day turns into a cheat week...

You and food have an inseparable bond and it just wouldn't be right to restrict yourself from the love you two share.

6. The last and final stage... acceptance.

After several days of trial and error and realizing you're just not fit for the diet lifestyle and hope for the best when you're squeezing into last year's bikini.

Kim said it best when she said, "I'm doin' it with class, 'cause I got a big ass"! Keep this attitude up when you're feeling low about your spring break bod.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
