The Struggle To Getting Homework Done

Do not leave your homework for the last minute, especially math.

Mathematics; that word alone can make someone cringe. It can be the most challenging subject, or the easiest. It all depends on who is completing it, and when and how. And which branch of math it is.

Homework is also a cringey subject. It is tedious and can be the most boring thing a student has to do in their day. Now sometimes the homework is through writing or on a website. But it has to be done, so that a student can retain the information, and get a higher grade.

Now math homework that is on a website, does not sound fun. Believe me, it is not.

Now, imagine this math homework being about forty percent of your grade. And your professor said, you can submit them throughout the semester. There are due dates for them, however, you can go back and complete whatever you missed. Now, some people, such as myself, dread math. In my one article how I said I do not slack off anymore. I try not to, however, it is difficult because math takes me the longest. So what would take another person an hour to complete, it takes me two hours. (However anything written is a completely different matter, but that is not the point). My mother often would impute me getting distracted by the internet as the cause of me not completing my work on time.My mom believes that social media is salient and comes to bother me. When no. That is not the case.

I tend to forget about it. Due to the homework being online, I tend to forget about it. And then well, now I have many many topics to complete, and on top of that, whatever my professor and other professors throw at me. Despite it being a challenge, I am up to it. So do me a favor. Do not procrastinate on your math homework. It does help, because it is extra practice and can save your grade. Do you want to pass? Well, I suggest dear Reader, that you note down you have to do homework, and get it done. It is better to do it at that moment rather than struggling to catch up later on.

So think about it, would you rather get it done in bits and pieces. Or have it all thrown at you in a day? You want to enjoy life. So make it a goal to get it all done. Yes it may be challenging. But I believe in you dear reader. There is hope for you. There is hope for you in all aspects of life. I believe in you. So start small and do some of the homework This can apply to any subject. It does not have to be just math. Plus your classes may be different than mine. So just, do us all a favor. Get your work done now, so you can enjoy the rest of the day!

Well, Jelly out! Good luck! Go get your work done! I have to go do mine, so go do yours!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
