We all have bad days, and some are worse than others, but it is important to remember that you have made it through all of your bad days so far, and you will make it through all the rest.
Things may happen that are out of our control that ruins our day or our week or our entire year, but we are more than the problems that surround us. Sometimes it may feel like one damn thing after another, but we don't have to let these things stop us in our tracks. We are always growing and maturing and learning how to survive our taxing circumstances.
No one likes to hear "it gets better" on their worst days, but it is usually the truth. Look back on what you used to think was the worst day of your life. Think about what happened after that day, and how you ended up where you are now. It probably got better because you are resilient and strong, and you are determined to live your best life.
Whether your childhood pet died, you are struggling financially, your classes are slowly draining you, or you are just generally worried about your future, there is always a way out of your darkest days. It may feel endless, but the only way out is through.
Our worst days don't have to define us, but they do shape us. You are stronger now because of your past, and you will continue to be shaped and molded into the best version of yourself because of your hardships. There cannot be light without darkness: we only know happy days because of our sad ones.
I am writing this as a reminder to myself, my friends, and anyone who needs to hear it. We will make it out of this alive. It may feel like the bad days will never end, but they will. They always do. And when the brighter days come along, they will be full of prosperity and delight, and we will forget the bad days ever happened.
