We're a little past the half-way point this quarter and it's been a tough one. It seems like these weeks have been dragging by but, luckily, the quarter is nearly done! We can see the end!

But, of course, it's easier to make it through the next few weeks with a little bit of inspiration. And there's no better source of inspiration for how to get through the next few weeks of the quarter than "The Office." Here are some ways to get through the rest of the quarter as told by "The Office"!

1. Acknowledge and accept that this quarter has been the worst.

The first step toward healing is acceptance. Even though we had high hopes for this quarter in the beginning, we have to accept that it is just the absolute worst. Whether it's due to hard classes, bad professors, or the dreary weather, this quarter has taken a nose dive.

2. Spend some of your free time in study groups.

Even though you've accepted that this quarter is horrible, you still need to put in some effort to make sure your grades and GPA don't tank. Best way to do that? Spend a little extra time studying and in study groups.

3. Lighten things up with some humor.

This quarter is just so hard. *ba dum tss* But seriously, there's nothing like a good laugh to make you feel better. Take a break and turn on a funny movie or watch a comedy special on Netflix. Whatever will make you smile and laugh.

4. De-stress with some cute animals.

Nothing is more relaxing and happy-making than petting and playing with some fluffy, cute animals. If you don't have one of your own, maybe ask a friend who has a pet to let you come over for a while or visit your local animal shelter and give the animals there some love!

5. Treat yourself with some of your favorite food.

Order some pizza, get some takeout, buy some ice cream... whatever comfort food you like the best, get it. Treat yourself. You deserve it!

6. Start daydreaming about Spring Break.

Warm, sunny days, no school-related stress, time to sleep in, and the freedom to just relax and do what you want. Oh my gosh, please, I need this. Dreams of spring break will get me through winter quarter!

7. Let off some stress by dancing.

Whether it's at the club with friends or alone in your room, put on some upbeat music and shake off the stress with some dance moves!

8. Fake it 'til you make it.

Even if you're stressed out and feeling like this quarter is getting the better of you, act like you're rocking it. Attitude is everything and if you're acting like you're doing awesome, chances are things will start getting better. Keep a smile on your face and stay positive!

9. Celebrate the little victories.

Made it out of bed? Celebrate! Turned in that challenging assignment? Woo, celebrate! Another week closer to the end of the quarter? Party! Don't be afraid to celebrate the small victories! You deserve it.

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
