Just because you can't do a back-flip on a balance beam or run the distance of a football field in nine-seconds doesn't mean that you don't deserve some medals in your daily life.
1. Walking whilst feeling chaffed.
2. Breaking in new shoes.
3. Hitting stop on the microwave late at night before it goes off.
4. Carrying multiple conversations via text.
5. Reaching the remote without getting off of the couch.
6. Waking up before your alarm goes off.
7. Or hitting the snooze button as many times as you can without being late.
7. Remembering to get the mail even if you're not expecting an Amazon order.
8. Frantically cleaning before your mother arrives.
9. Drinking more than the recommended amount of water for the day.
10. Actually making your bed regularly.
11.Unloading the dishwasher.
So be proud of your bad self and reward yourself for the little things.
