Remember those teachers that make you stand up and say things about yourself on the first day of class? Everyone sits in their desk, sweat dripping down your face , and you can just feel your face turning bright red. Then all of a sudden, it is your turn and every single bit of knowledge you had is gone, even remembering your name is impossible. Well, that was never me. Actually I am the complete opposite, I have always enjoyed having all eyes on me. This love for being the center of attention helped me decide that I wanted to go into broadcasting that then led me to chose journalism as my major, which helped me find my love for writing. Now that everyone knows the most important thing about me, let me tell you 15 facts about myself that made me the diva I am today.
1) I was born and raised in Augusta Ga (yes, I have been to The Masters)
2) I am in my third year at Georgia Southern studying journalism and PR.
3) I was a competitive gymnast from the age of 7 to 16 and I spent more hours at the gym then my actual home
4) I was on the GSU all girl cheer leading team for two years and also won two national championships while on this team.
5) I am now on the GSU equestrian team
6) My favorite movie is "Gone With The Wind"
7) I was the 2015 GSU homecoming Duchess
8)I am a member of Zeta Tau Alpha
9) I have a weird obsession with investigative podcasts. If you have not listened to Serial, you are seriously missing out.
10) I once competed in a bikini competition
11) My favorite book is anything written by Jodi Picoult or South Of Broad by Pat Conroy
12) I have a legit fear of bananas.
13) I am convinced I am adopted (i'm not) because I look absolutely nothing like anyone in my family.
14) I am friends with some of the greatest ( and best dressed) people in the world.
