A good reporter always attempts to keep a tab on previous information that he or she has shared, while also sharing any relevant and important updates. I have wrote about the upcoming Boston Comic-Con 2017 that will be at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center from August 11th-13th. Here is the previous article: https://www.theodysseyonline.com/get-conventioned-ii. Today I will be sharing an updated list of celebrity guests that will be making an exciting appearance at the famous New England convention! As it says in the title of the convention, it will host some of the most popular and influential comic figures such as Kevin Smith and Stan Lee. This year, Boston Comic-Con is excited to announce that they be planning the have some of the Anime Industry’s finest and popular voice actors and actresses.

So let’s get started! One of the most popular voice actors that will be appearing all three days is the star of the incredibly action-packed anime: “Attack on Titan”, Eren Jaeger’s english voice actor Bryce Papenbrook. Expect a huge line for him! He is also credited for the same character in the spinoff: “Attack on Titan: Junior High” and obviously “Attack on Titan Season 2”! Other notable roles of Mr. Papenbrook includes Kazuto “Kirito” Kirigaya from the “Sword Art Online” franchise, Makoto Naegi from the mystery-thriller anime and video game: “Danganronpa”, and as Meliodas from the Netflix hit anime: “The Seven Deadly Sins”!

Another star and fellow “Attack on Titan” series voice actress: Trina Nishimura who voices the totally cool and stoic Mikasa Ackerman shall also be appearing all three days at Boston Comic-Con 2017. Although Ms. Nishimura has gathered a lot of popularity from her role as Mikasa Ackerman, she has also done major work in other classic anime shows such as “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood” as Lan Fan, “Baccano!” as Rachel, and who could forget “Steins;Gate” as Kurisu Makise! I could only expect another long line up for her autographs.

Still in the realm of anime, two of the biggest voice actresses in anime will be coming to Boston: Maile Flanagan and Amanda Miller, stars of the incredible adventures from the “Naruto” franchise!!! Maile Flanagan voices the ninja whose dream is to be the next hokage (well, to be honest A LOT of ninjas had that same dream), Naruto Uzumaki and Amanda Miller voices his son, the next generation of ninjas, Boruto Uzumaki! Maile Flanagan has roles in another great works such as “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’, “Rango”, and “Astro Boy”! Amanda Miller has worked in other notable shows such as “Squid Girl” (one of my favorites!), “Accel World”, and “Hunter x Hunter”. Both talented voice actresses are planning to appear all three days at Boston Comic-Con! Hmmmm, I’m sensing a pattern.

The next batch of voice actresses are a team of soon-to-be-hunters and at one point (or still) worked at the production company known as Rooster Teeth! The company’s work include the incredibly funny series called “Red vs. Blue”, a movie that broke several records on Indiegogo: “Lazer Team”, and the hit action series: RWBY”. The voice actresses who make up the titled team RWBY shall be appearing at Boston Comic-Con for three days! So let’s get onto the introductions! First up, we have Lindsay Jones who voices the team leader: Ruby Rose! Mrs. Jones also worked in other productions such as “Red vs. Blue”, “Camp Camp”, and “X-Ray and Vav”. On deck is the Queen of puns and the voice of Ruby’s older sister who has a bit of a temper if you mess with her hair, Barbara Pun- (whoops I mean) Barbara Dunkelman who voices Yang Xaio Long on “RWBY”. Kara Eberle voices Weiss Schnee, a talented huntress who is the daughter to an incredibly powerful figure in the world of Remnant. Last, but not least, Arryn Zech who voices the Faunus that can deal a silent and deadly strike, Blake Belladonna. The series have been running for four seasons and have just announced that they will be coming back for a fifth season. You can see all the episodes on www.roosterteeth.com or YouTube! So if you’re in the Boston or New England area, this is a great chance to see so many of your favorite voice actors and actresses from the anime industry, all in one location.

There is also going to some TV cartoon actors appearing at Boston too! Those appearing are Zach Callison who voices the self-titled character: “Steven Universe”, the talented Billy West who voices Phillip J. Fry or just Fry from “Futurama”, and also the hilarious Jess Harnell, notably famous for playing Wakko from “Animaniacs”, I wonder how many requests he’ll get to sing the 50 states and their capitals? So far, all three actors’ date appearances are to be determined.

Maintaining with the theme of voice actors, some of the video games’ greatest and most memorable characters shall be there as well. Troy Baker and Nolan North who voices Samuel Drake and Nathan Drake, respectively, from the “Uncharted” series are expecting to be seen there. Up and coming Charlet Chung will be there too, best known for D.Va from “Overwatch”. Video game royalty shall be there as David Hayter who is the voice behind Solid Snake, the main player and character of “Metal Gear”. Last and certainly not least, another video game royalty shall appear as Charles Martinet who is best known for our favorite Italian plumber: Mario of the Nintendo classic series of “Super Mario”! girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.
