It’s once again that time of year in New England, when it’s technically spring, but the rain and cold still manages to deceive everyone on the weather. Not to fret, there is so much time for the weather to go from freezing cold to the hot blistering summer in June. If you ever had the experience to live in the New England area, or more specifically the Boston area, you understand this feeling or only getting super hot or super cold weather. The only thing that keeps us going in the Boston area are, of course, the amazing conventions! This time, we will be talking about the 10th anniversary of Boston Comic-Con.

Boston Comic-Con a spectacular three-day event spanning from August 11th-13th 2017 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Boston Comic-Con is the premier event that hosts some of comic’s greatest legends such as the one and only Stan Lee! If you are remotely any comic fan, this is the event to get that incredibly valued autograph and picture with the man himself! Hurry now because tickets are separate from general admission and limited to get his autographs and photo op. Speaking of tickets, there will be both single-day and weekend passes being sold online or on-site, at just a higher price. My recommendation, weekend passes are the way to go and for this event, it only costs $90 plus fees for the whole three days of Comic-Con. Click here for more prices: http://bostoncomiccon.com/tickets/.

I mentioned the big attraction of Boston Comic-Con, Stan Lee, but don’t worry, there are so many other celebrity guests that will be making an appearance at Boston! For all of you who were able to experience the unique shows back in its’ day, you’ll understand what if you were there. Tim Curry, Meat Loaf, Barry Bostwick, Patricia Quinn, and Nell Campbell from “Rocky Horror Picture Show” will be there to see fans from all over Boston! I never had the chance to see what all the fuss was about with “Rocky Horror”, but I had my parents and the generations before me explain the stories of bringing umbrellas, spray-bottles and throwing popcorn during the movie. This cult-classic still lives on and Boston will get to host these legendary entertainers.

Kevin Smith from “Jay and Silent Bob” will be appearing at the event! Kevin Smith hosts “Comic Book Men” and played in one of my favorite films, “Dogma”, which featured Matt Damon, the late Alan Rickman, Salma Hayek, Ben Affleck, Chris Rock, so much more. Also appearing at the event will be Matt Smith and Karen Gillan from the BBC show, “Doctor Who”. Lastly to mention, as of now theses two celebrities have been postponed, but just keeping these fingers crossed, Adam West and Burt Ward known for the T.V. version of Batman are marked down to appear at Boston Comic-Con for their supposed last appearance in Boston. Hopefully, they make it, but if not, I hope they return next to fulfill their ‘last’ appearance. For celebrity guests, you must purchase separate tickets for those individual signings or photo ops. Ticket prices and updates are expected to show on the website closer to the date of the event. They are also first come, first serve at the convention site. One more feature to expect at this year’s Boston Comic-Con, as to expect at every comic-con, are the incredible cosplays. There will be a pre-event Cosplay parade at Faneuil Hall. Boston Comic-Con holds an annual costume contests for those who are truly dedicated in their costume crafting and props. There are several prizes that range in cash rewards and titles such as Best in Show, best journeymen, best youth, and so forth. So if you think you have a cosplay to show off or plain like to wear cool costumes, Boston Comic-Con is the place to go for everyone to check out your awesome cosplays! Bostonians and New Englanders! We have so much to look forward within the coming months. We got great weather to warm up the cold souls that we have to endure this past winter and apparently extended winter part II. We also have the next convention in the heart of Massachusetts. Just as a reminder, Boston Comic-Con 2017 will be from August 11th-13th at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center located just a few minutes from South Station. Enjoy and happy con-ing!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.
