Georgetown's Best Study Locations

With the end of Spring Break and Easter, comes a month that will fade at the blink of an eye. April is a time where the weather should be getting better and we each begin to prepare for the most mentally straining two weeks of the semester...finals.

So here, I give you the best study locations at and near Georgetown University, and no, Lau is not included.

Bioethics Library

The Bioethics Library is one of the most beautiful rooms on campus, and it's a place that will have you recalling renowned Ivy League libraries. This Ivy League aura will rub off on your studying and perhaps you'll get an A- rather than a B+ on that next Econ exam.

McDonough School of Business (MSB)

You may not be in the MSB but it's an amazing place to do work and have a social studying routine. It's not too quiet but if you get a break-out room you're golden.

Walsh Classrooms

These classrooms are generally used for art classes but on the off chance you happen to walk by Walsh on the weekend or during the night, these classrooms can be used for productive studying.

Starbucks on M Street

Have a craving for Starbucks Coffee and also a need to study? Look no further. This is the perfect place to let your intelligence flow and let your paper write itself.

Saxbys

Another coffee shop favorite that will have you catching a glimpse of more Hoyas rather than if you were at Starbucks. Saxbys is an all time favorite by Georgetown students.

Leavey Patio

As the warm weather begins to roll in, you're bound to earn a few tan lines while you're studying. Leavey Patio is a great place to relax and hangout with friends while you study for finals.

April Ludgate
NBC Universal

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.

Amidst my hectic college career, I always find time for one thing, even on the busiest weeks: Parks and Recreation. This show has made me laugh and has made me cry, but most of all I have related to this show more than I would like to admit.

Here are some "Parks and Rec" moments that relate to life struggles that just about everyone faces.
