PNC Bank Arts Center yet again brought another amazing tour to New Jersey. On Thursday, G-Eazy and Logic took the stage for their Endless Summer Tour. Both Logic and G-Eazy talked about their journey through the industry and how it is not easy to “make it.”

Before the show, there were two performers that the crowd was not really paying much attention to. People walked around trying to find their seats and grabbed food and drinks while the performers rapped on stage. As the show continued, Logic and G-Eazy came out and said how they used to be one of the opening acts that people did not pay attention to. Each performer thanked the opening acts for being there and showed them a lot of respect. Even though the people before G-Eazy and Logic may just be the opening acts, they are still trying to make a name for themselves while having fun with the audience and showcasing their talent.

During Logic’s performance, he told a story through his music and actions. Logic explained how he practically came from nothing and with hard work and dedication made himself into someone he is proud to be. As he said, “Yeah I have rapper money, but that doesn’t mean s**t. You can have all the money in the world and that doesn’t mean anything.” Although he does do well for himself, Logic still has to work hard and continue to be happy while making it. Logic also had his light crew turn on all of the lights. In this portion of the show he called out people in the crowd. He talked to them, asked them what their name was and even rapped with this one 13-year-old boy that was really a part of “RattPack." By doing this, Logic made everyone in the audience feel welcomed. He was so humble and thanked his fans and everyone else for all of his successes.

As for G-Eazy, the amount of times he interacted with the audience was unbelievable. He talked to the audience, called people out, signed memorabilia and took pictures with fans. G-Eazy could not stop thanking every person on the tour, every person in the audience and everyone that made his dreams come true. He continued the show by bringing out performers that are important in his career. Macklemore made a surprise appearance and G-Eazy brought out some of his openers. G-Eazy told a story about how Lil Wayne gave him a chance to be his opening act and how at every show he would study how Lil Wayne performed. By doing this he said he learned so many useful things about performing and interacting with the crowd. G-Eazy truly shows how thankful he is for his fans by not only saying how thankful he is, but also continuing to put on incredible performances and involving every person in the audience.

It was a night of rap, respect, gratitude and truth. Both Logic and G-Eazy brought forth a show that was inspirational and influential.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
