Odds are at some point in your life you’ve come across a picture on the Internet that somebody commented “-Gavin screaming-” onto. A common reaction to these comments is “Who is Gavin, and why is he screaming?” Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to Gavin Free. Gavin, also commonly known from his YouTube series “The SlowMo Guys”, is one of Rooster Teeth’s many employees, and probably the most well known amongst non-RT viewers for his constant screaming in videos about absolutely nothing. So what is Rooster Teeth and why is it invading your Internet? Let me tell you!

Rooster Teeth is an online video production company, popularly known for it’s video game channels; “Achievement Hunter,” and especially “Let’s Play,” which has grown to include other Youtube personalities such as Funhaus, Kinda Funny, The Creatures, Screw Attack, and Cow Chop. However. Rooster Teeth is so much more than video games. The company also has it’s own game show: “On The Spot,” two popular animated shows: “RWBY” and “Red vs. Blue,” and MST3K style movie show, and various skit shows and podcasts that create something for everyone. They’ve even put out a full length feature film; “Lazer Team,” and have started making multiple documentaries. Really, Rooster Teeth is becoming the jack of all video related trades,

A big part of Roosterteeth that attracts multiple viewers is all of the charity work it puts forth. One of the Achievement Hunters, Jack Patillo, hosts an Extra Life livestream every year which raises money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The Rooster Teeth employees do various activities when a certain amount of money is raised, sell exclusive merchandise, and basically just have fun on camera for twenty four hours straight. Plus, who doesn’t love seeing some of their favorite internet personalities drunk on camera for charity and trying to follow along with Bob Ross’s painting instructions?

Whether it’s science, video games, Dungeons & Dragons, sports, anime, or just random topics, Rooster Teeth has something for you. It’s a hilarious group of people who do a lot of promising work for the community. So if you ever have free time, check it out, because you’re bound to find something that tickles your fancy.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing!
