With LSU football not coming back for another week, here are a few college games and pro games to feed your football hungry brain.
Alabama vs. OklahomaÂ
Photo Provided By @alabamafblThe Orange Bowl should be one of the best bowl games to watch this year. Alabama and Oklahoma both possess two high powered offenses, but with a looming injury surrounding Tua, Alabama might not be at its best. If you're deciding on which team to root for... then are you really an LSU fan?
Auburn vs PurdueÂ
The Music City Bowl is shaping up to be a high tempo battle (pun intended). Expect Jarrett Stidham to (at least try to) be playing lights out because his 2018 season has left scouts and draft experts wondering if he's ready for the pros. I'd root for Purdue in this one because it's the college home of Louisiana's golden boy Drew Bress.
Georgia vs Texas
The sweet sugar bowl. This one's pretty simple, two good defenses and two good quarterbacks won't disappoint. Doesn't really matter who you root for here, LSU didn't play Texas this year and everyone knows what happened when Georgia came to Death Valley.
Saints vs. Panthers
I decided to add two NFL games to the end of the list if you're wanting something new to refresh your brain. As mentioned earlier, there's not a bigger saint in Louisiana than Drew Brees. If you're trying to get in the Louisiana spirit a little early, this would be a good game to have on.

Another Pro game to think about is this classic rivalry at noon. The factor that makes this game so intriguing is the playoff implications surrounding it. In addition, no games are more heated than division rivalries. When deciding to choose who to root for, I'd pick the Redskins. Why? They started Mark Sanchez for a game this year, what's not to love.
