As a gamer, I know that there are moments in a video game that make people angry and upset, whether you're having trouble doing a mission, losing a match in a game, or getting trash-talked by other online players.
However, none of these reasons, no matter how angry you get, justify destroying your games, consoles, monitors or anything of that nature. You can find various videos online of people getting angry at a video game who rage out and destroy their things. I've seen way too many people saying things like this are normal and it's okay because they got angry.
If you ever feel the need to destroy anything over a game, you, my friend, have anger problems, or you're just showing off in front of a crowd. I've actually had people tell me that they show off in front of a crowd before to be funny or give themselves that kind of persona. Is it believable? Yes, I could actually see people doing something like that, but why give yourself that identity as someone who comes off as unstable?
I'm gonna give you a quick scenario. Your controller is broken, and it turns out you don't have a spare. You ask your friend if they have a spare you can use. However, they clearly remember the time you smashed your last one after losing a match. They tell you no dice, not risking the chance of their property getting destroyed. If you can't take care of your own property, what makes you think that they would even trust you with theirs? You can get mad all you like and claim it's not like that at all and you have control over what you do, but how should I know? I'm just judging you based on your actions. What I see is you're unstable, overactive, destructive, and unpredictable.
