With life coaching on the rise worldwide, it's no surprise that there is a coaching niche for all walks of life - or trots of life! Alex Strobel of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom specialists in life coaching for equestrian women. She helps people achieve balance in their lives, pursue their goals, unleash their purpose, and thrive in the equestrian world. Having been a horse-lover from a young age, Strobel saw a natural link between coaching women on riding horseback outside with coaching them toward achieving their inner transformation inside.

She attributes her own success to coaches who have guided and mentored her along the way, "I enrolled in a coaching programme that turned my life around. It was like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders to have a personal life coach to listen, question and support me on the journey to overcome my limiting beliefs, shift my mindset, educate me in the science of NLP and sports psychology and ultimately help me achieve my personal, business and Equestrian goals."

As an NLP practitioner, she is a huge advocate for principles such as reframing and anchoring. Reframing is the process by which one consciously chooses to observe a situation differently or transmute a negative thought or thinking pattern into a positive one. Anchoring, similarly, creates positive emotional associations by utilising physical stimuli with a recollection of a positive memory which evokes pleasant emotions. Both of these principles are discussed in depth in her Equestrian Mindset Accelerator programme, which covers effective mindset training philosophies and techniques, specifically through the lens of an equestrian.

Strobel's passion for helping women life the life of their dreams is what inspired her to start her bespoke coaching business and launch her online training programmes. "After what I can only explain as a life changing few months of self development and growth, I knew I had to share the knowledge that I had learnt and help other women who may be feeling like I did." 18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
