Dear Future Son,

There's a lot of lessons I want to teach you throughout your life but there is one specific lesson that you need to learn. The subject is girls. One day, you will be old enough to realize how you feel about them, don't worry this is natural. Not all girls are the same, and this you will come to find out. You will meet a sea of girls before you find Mrs. Right, and you will have your heart broken many times before you stumble upon her. Girls are awesome, despite what you might think at times. The right ones are sweet, caring, loving, respectful, fun and will make your life better than you can imagine. But you must respect each girl that comes your way even if she is not the right one. Treat her like you don't want to lose her. Make her believe that there is nobody out there more caring, loving and fun than you (because there isn't). If you want her, then take a risk. Never doubt who you are because you think she might not like you. You are your greatest advocate and if you believe in yourself, she will fall for your irresistible charm.

She won't always make you happy, that's a part of life. But she can make everything worth wild if you just have some patience. Don't forget to say you're sorry. She will grow to love you more when you own up to your mistakes. But don't forget to tell her when she is being irrational; your life will be less complicated when you communicate with her. Don't judge a girl based off looks, there is much more than what meets the eye. True beauty lies in her heart and character and that is what you will come to appreciate when you are 90-years-old holding hands at the movies. The right ones are worth it.

Not all girls will appreciate you. Some girls will make you doubt the point of relationships. They are a part of the plan. Life is about learning when you and a girl don't work out, there is a better one just around the corner. She might take many things from you, but do not let her take your pride because there is so much more to life than a faulty relationship. She'll regret letting you go one day. Be kind and know that girls like guys who go out of their way to say, "Hi, how are you?"

I'm sure, like me, many of you received lots of gift cards over the holidays. After working retail seasonally, here are a few tips that I learned in order to make the employees at your favorite store just a little happier and not want to charge you extra on your purchase for being awful. Here are some times when you should be nicer to retail workers than you actually are!

5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone
Youtube

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
