An Open Letter To My Future Little

I do not know if we have met yet, but I hope we become best friends one day. A big/little relationship is all about mentorship and growing together to be better women!

I cannot wait to spoil you during big/little week… but I REALLY cannot wait to see your face when you find out it is me!!!

Mostly, I hope to be to you what my big was to me. Once after chapter I realized I had locked my keys in my car. My family was out of town, my insurance was going to be three hours until they could help, and my phone was dying. My big found me and took me to Starbucks then to the mall down the road from the school. Nothing is better than retail therapy and a good cup of coffee on a stressful day. she dropped me back off at my car right before the insurance guy arrived to unlock my car. That was a hard day, but my big showed up when I needed her most. I did not even have to ask, and she was there determined to help me out.

What makes you being my little even better is adding to the stack!!! We have a HUGE fam, and they’re all full of love and laughter! I know your grandbig and great grandbig are as excited as I am to meet you!

I know I am going to love you, and I hope I do not scare you off with my enthusiasm.

WELCOME HOME, LITTLE! And welcome to the fam!

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
