11 Funniest Lip Sync Performances Of All Time
Lip Sync Battle

Laughing is one of my favorite things to do. Laughter makes you smile, it makes you happy, and it brightens up your mood temporarily. Whenever I need a good laugh, I look up clips of celebrities battling it out, lip sync style. When I watch those performances, sounds of amusement instantly appear. Here are a few of the funniest lip sync battle performances of all time, in no particular order, from "Lip Sync Battle" and "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

1. John Krasinski, "Rolling On The River."

I could probably watch this video every day for the rest of my life and never grow tired of it. It could be because I absolutely adore John Krasinski. It could be because I love his outfit change and dance moves; it could be because he actually lip syncs the song very while during the entire performance so that his lips move along to Tina Turner's voice. All I know is, you have to watch this performance. I promise you'll break out in laughter.

2. Jimmy Fallon, "Like a Prayer."

Since seeing this performance, I think about Jimmy Fallon every time I hear this song on the radio. He engages the crowd, he throws in a few dance moves, and he brings out a choir. This is the kind of performance that leaves audiences satisfied. Encore, Jimmy. Encore!

3. Anne Hathaway, "Wrecking Ball."

Lip syncing isn't just about moving your lips; it requires passionate facial expressions and body movements, too. Interacting with Emily before jumping onto a wrecking ball (which no one was expecting) added suspense. The dark stage left the audience unprepared for what was about to happen.

4. Josh Gad, "I Touch Myself."

Honestly, you don't even have to watch Kaley's performance. No offense, Kaley. You did great -- you just weren't hilarious, like Josh was. Let's talk about Josh's money boxers, his dancers' matching outfits, and his make out session to Kaley's co-star at the end. I talk about this performance on a daily basis. Whenever it pops into my mind, I can't help but smile.

5. Melissa McCarthy, "Colors of The Wind."

Skip to 5:50, if you want to watch the funniest performance of the video: Melissa McCarthy pulling out all the accessories to do the "Pocahontas" song justice. From sequins, to stuffed animals and water, she has it all.

6. Terry Crews, "A Thousand Miles."

If you love "White Chicks" (which you should), you will absolutely love Terry Crews' performance. It's the #TBT we all wanted, needed, and deserved. Thank you, Terry.

7. and 8. Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson, "Shake it Off" and Jimmy Fallon, "Jump In Line."

Although I personally think Jimmy's performance is funnier than The Rock's, my sister disagrees. Either way, both of these performances are pretty funny.

9. Channing Tatum, "Let It Go."

Skip ahead to the 2:14 mark and allow yourself to be entertained by the one and only Channing Tatum as Princess Elsa. His legs are amazing in that dress. #JustSaying.

10. Will Ferrell, "Drunk In Love."

Almost anything Will Ferrell does can make us laugh, so it should come as no surprise that his lip syncing to Beyonce is pretty entertaining.

11. Stephen Merchant, "Single Ladies."

Skip ahead to 5:21 for Stephen's performance, because he is much more fun to watch than the other performers (no offense to Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Jimmy Fallon, who also do a great job). Watching his hips shake and his mini jazz hands is enough to make you laugh. Add the fact that an angelic voice such as Beyonce's is coming from his mouth, and you'll be sure to chuckle.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
