5 Horror Movies That Will Make You Laugh Before They Make You Scream

I'm more frightened for the future of their acting careers than anything else.

Have you ever watched a horror movie that was simply hilarious? Well, I have a list of some comedic horror movies that might just make your day and trigger some memories from the past. Boo!

1. "The House at the End of the Street" is more about fake acting than anything else

Jennifer Lawrence knows how to creep on guys who live down the block. For all I know, Lawrence spies on people the perfect way. In my opinion, though, the movie is more about her making funny noises than about scaring the viewers. Basically, "The House at the End of the Street" is entertaining, creative, and funny, only up to the extent where you see the protagonist's expressions.

2. "Gremlin" isn't as scary as "The Exorcist," but hey, furry creatures can also be evil

The movie "Gremlin" isn't all about fake dolls and ogling eyes. The movie is definitely about small furry creatures which are cute until you get to know them. Once gremlins grow up, they hatch into demonic creatures and hunt human beings down everywhere. Scary, right? Well, for the most part, most furry monsters are simply eerily cute, not really savage killers.

3. The laughable drama in "Scary Movie" makes it anything but

AH... "Scary Movie!" I'm pretty sure you've seen at least one of the movies in this series. These movies are definitely worth a watch if you want to spend the whole night cringing on actresses who can't even scream well. We all know those people who try hard on the screen and get paid well. Well, this movie is for you if you just need something to watch. On the other hand, "Scary Movie" is scary enough to make you go to sleep.

4. Eddie Murphy hits the bullseye in "Haunted Mansion" and Disney World. Oh my!

This movie is pretty old, let me tell you. As far as I can remember, I went on the "Haunted Mansion" ride in Disney World when I was just a kid for the shits and giggles. It wasn't too scary. The entire ride was simply funny and artsy. It's still a great watch though! So watch it when you can!

5. I can't help but question Megan Fox's acting in "Jennifer's Body"

When the movie first started, I felt a twinge of cringe when I saw Megan Fox turning into some crazy monster from a hot stuck-up bitch. She really knows how to woo the viewers. For all I know, the scary faces she makes at the camera are definitely too much to handle. It was just so fake. If you ever need to see Megan Fox in action, try this movie out. Who knows what you will see?

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
