10 Of The Laugh-Out-Loud Funniest Scenes From 'The Office,' Hands Down

These are my top 10 favorite scenes of "The Office," which are timeless. For those of you that have watched "The Office," definitely see if your top 10 matches mine! For those of you who have not watched "The Office," these are definitely the highlights. These are a countdown from number 10 most favorite to number 1 most favorite.

10. Asian Jim (S9:E3)

With Jim and Dwight's long streak of pranks, Jim pulls a really good one on Dwight. In order to make Dwight question Jim's race, Jim elaborately is able to fool and confuse Dwight.

9. Prison Mike (S3:E9)

After Dunder Mifflin gains new workers, one of which happens to have had a criminal record, word goes around the office that prison is better than the office. In order to teach his workers to value working at Dunder Mifflin, Michael Scott whips out his persona "Prison Mike." By telling others about his "personal" experience in prison, he not only inaccurately describes prison but also brings an iconic character to life.

8. The Bat (S3:E17)

When a bat is found in the office, Dwight makes it his personal mission to deal with it. After it supposedly "bites" Jim, Dwight starts his plan to stake Jim before he becomes a full out vampire. In addition, when Dwight tries to get the bat, he viciously attacks Meredith in the process.

7. I DECLARE BANKRUPTCY (S4:E7)

When Michael gets advice from Creed that in order to hand his finances, Michael should declare bankruptcy, Michael takes things a little too LITERALLY.

6. Pam's Confession (S3:E23)

One of the most anticipated moments of "The Office" has been Pam's confession. After Jim was rejected, every "The Office" fan was frustrated at Pam's indecision and hesitation when confessing her feelings to Jim. It was obvious that they were in love, and this moment was finally the anticipated moment.

5. Consoling Dwight (S4:E8)

This was one of the most heartwarming scenes between Jim and Dwight. After Angela starts going out with Andy, Dwight, who was madly in love with Angela, is heartbroken. As a result, in order to try to comfort Dwight (although he has always gotten on Jim's nerves), Jim tells him about the similar situation in which he had his heart broken by Pam. Although this heart to heart talk shows vulnerable sides of both characters and is a pivot moment of empathy and connection, the writers were successful in making the ending still very funny.

4. Kevin's Chili (S5:E26)

Although it is one of the most heartbreaking things to watch, Kevin's narration paired with actual folding out of events makes the scene so sad that it's funny. Kevin is quite the character throughout the whole series, but his simple personality makes him very enjoyable to watch.

3. Best Prank Ever (S9:E24)

After a series of friendly pranks between Jim and Dwight, Jim pulls the best prank ever by stepping down as best man in order to have Michael Scott, Dwight's longtime role model, take the role. It's a heartwarming scene and shows the immense growth and change between the relationship of Jim and Dwight.

2. Fire Drill (S5:E14)

In order to test the office's readiness, Dwight tests his coworkers with a simulated drill. Believing that the fire safety lesson could only be taught through real-life experience, Dwight starts a fire in the office and traps his coworkers in the smoking office. All hell breaks loose.

1. CPR (S5:E15)

Last but certainly not least, the best scene in "The Office" has to be the CPR scene. From the very same episode as the Fire Drill Scene, the CPR scene is one of the most iconic scenes of "The Office." Due to Stanley's heart condition, Michael Scott holds a meeting for the entire office to learn CPR in case of an emergency. However, as always the whole office staff, especially Michael Scott, do a poor job following directions and take things a little too far.

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
